One of the new features we have been working on for Localify.org is artist recommendations for music festivals that:
- have a large number of bands, and
- support local music communities
Some festivals can have hundreds of bands playing during a small window of time and it can be challenging to figure out who you want to see. Now you can put in a few of your favorite artists (or automatically import them from Spotify), and then Localify can recommend artists who will be performing at the upcoming festival.
To pilot this idea, Paul Gagliano from Localify whipped up a few special festival recommandtion links that you can explore:
- South-by-Southwest (SXSW) – March 7-1, 2025
- Ithaca Porchfest 2024 – September 2024

(Yes, we know that Ithaca Porchfest 2024 happened like 6 months ago but we love it so much that we wanted to relive the experience.)
