{"id":803,"date":"2025-03-06T18:28:18","date_gmt":"2025-03-06T18:28:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.localify.org\/?p=803"},"modified":"2025-03-06T18:30:07","modified_gmt":"2025-03-06T18:30:07","slug":"music-festival-artist-recommendation-for-sxsw-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.localify.org\/index.php\/2025\/03\/06\/music-festival-artist-recommendation-for-sxsw-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Music Festival Artist Recommendation for SXSW 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>One of the new features we have been working on for Localify.org is <strong>artist recommendations for music festivals<\/strong> that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>have a large number of bands, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>support local music communities <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Some festivals can have hundreds of bands playing during a small window of time and it can be challenging to figure out who you want to see. Now you can put in a few of your favorite artists (or automatically import them from Spotify), and then Localify can recommend artists who will be performing at the upcoming festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To pilot this idea, Paul Gagliano from Localify whipped up a few special festival recommandtion links that you can explore:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"ttps:\/\/localify.org\/onboard-city?cityId=f2df7afd-604d-4819-831e-7dda510aaa56\"><strong>South-by-Southwest (SXSW)<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; March 7-1, 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/localify.org\/onboard-city?cityId=240fb4f0-3d5a-4844-ba04-342ebc78536b\">Ithaca Porchfest 2024<\/a> <\/strong>&#8211; September 2024 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fort Collins Music Experiment (FOCOMx) &#8211; April 18-19, 2025 &#8211; <em>Link Coming Soon&#8230;<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>(Yes, we know that Ithaca Porchfest 2024 happened like 6 months ago but we love it so much that we wanted to relive the experience.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please give it a try and let us know what you think by emailing support@localify.org.
